1.      Mortgage Banking Platform - As a Freddie Mac Seller Servicer and Direct Lender, SMI has the credentials required to compete into the future:  FHA Full Eagle, VA  Automatic, Direct Endorsement Underwriting, soon to be a Ginnie Mae Issuer, and Fannie Mae Seller Servicer.  We can sell straight to the market or to any of our portfolio of Investors.  Our originators may also choose to broker loans to any of our many established broker relationships.

Here is your access information for our new IHM (In House Mortgage) system. Many of you have logged in to webinars to learn the new system and we appreciate it. I think you will be surprised at the ease of use and the time this will save you and your team. If you missed those webinars you will need to log in to the PCLender training site and view them there.

We
are now live with the system and all new loans must be originated in the IHM software. I will tell you what your user ID is below so you can log in and begin learning the system.


Here's how to get started:
Go to http://superinstall.com/ , click on download now.
On the next page click "Accept" at the bottom.
When the file download box appears, click the save button and save it to your desktop.
(It’s very Important to save it to your desktop)
After saving it to your desktop you should have a new icon on your desktop that is either a little house or a torch. Click on the new icon and it will begin to run the program.

As you run the program the first time it will ask you for the IP address of our database. You should type in: "soundmortgage.pclender.biz" as the IP address of the database. Leave the port setting at 211. Select the box saying "do not show again"

Your user name is your first letter of your first name and your complete last name. Example.. "rpowell" is mine.

Your startup password is "
welcome1" and must be entered as all lower case. You will be required to input a new password on your first log in to the system. Remember, passwords are case sensitive.

For training you may go to http://pclender.info and log in there. Logging in to training requires you complete 3 boxes. First, you must put the database name of soundmortgage in the top box. Then enter your user name and password. *Note: You must have already logged into the IHM program at least once and changed your password from Welcome1 to a new one.

If you are a new employee to Sound Mortgage, you will be set up in our system when we authorize your employment. That’s after your background is approved, etc. You will get an email sent to you. After that notification, if you cannot log in, email a request to newuser@soundmtg.com. Allow a full working day for a response.

Problems with IHM should be solved by you first consulting the help database at http://pclender.info. If you can’t solve the issue, email us at newuser@soundmtg.com. We will attempt to contact you as soon as possible. Make sure to include all details in your email. That is, loan name, specific problem, who to call at what number if we need to, etc.

NYLX user ID Information

NYLX is our loan search and pricing engine that is integrated into the IHM system. When we set up a user ID for you in IHM, we also set up a user ID in NYLX. That will allow you to go into NYLX directly from IHM for pricing.

In the event you wish to log into NYLX.com directly, you may do so. Your user name there is your soundmtg.com email address. Your beginning password is welcome1.

Please keep track of your passwords as they cannot be automatically reset. It will require you sending an email to newuser@soundmtg.com if you get locked out.

Problems with the NYLX system operations should be solved by contacting NYLX help directly on their web site. Log in problems should be reported to newuser@soundmtg.com.

Many of you may already do this, but through the wonders of modern technology, you can have your clients “opt-out” of pre-screening of their credit by all of the major repositories. Remember, as soon as you run a credit report, your client will very likely be inundated with offers for mortgages/credit unless your client has previously “opted-out” of such pre-screening. With the refi boom underway, this will spare us the loss of originations to competitors. To opt out go to www.optoutprescreen.com and have your client complete the opt out process. This will also reduce much of their junk mail for credit cards, etc.
